To keep abreast of state of the art developments in the areas in which EVI is active.
To reinforce relationships with international institutions and organisations.

To heighten the visibility and awareness of EVI in the vaccine community in general.

MIM is a scientific malaria conference, the world's largest gathering of the malaria community, that brings together some 1,800 leading researchers, activists, health workers, public health officials and policymakers every three to four years.

The third conference in the series – MALARIA VACCINES FOR THE WORLD – MVW 2013 is the follow-up to the successful MVW meeting held in London in 2007 and Washington DC in 2010 and again will offer researchers a fresh new forum to discuss the current status of new malaria vaccines initiatives, vaccine candidates and clinical trials. MVW 2013 will focus attention on ‘Vaccine Issues’ in relation to Malaria as a worldwide disease.
