PBVA 2013 is the fifth meeting in this important and successful series. It will offer an international forum to review the current state of research in plant protein expression systems, down-stream processing technology, the pipeline of products now in development (including vaccines, monoclonal antibodies, and human enzymes), and efforts in using these technologies in areas beyond human health (including disease prevention in animals and aquaculture).
The IMI Stakeholders Forum will concentrate on the brain.
The uniqueness of the World Leishmaniasis (WL) Congress is that it unites under one roof scientists/professionals, such as entomologists, epidemiologists, immunologists, cellular/molecular biologists, medical doctors, pathologists, health/industrial workers, policy makers and many other leishmaniacs who share a common interest in the most globally important and diversified group of vector born protozoan parasites – the Leishmania.
The workshop, organised by International Alliance for Biological Standardization (IABS), aims to review the latest developments on adjuvants and to pinpoint gaps and bottlenecks in the evaluation and prediction of the efficacy and safety of adjuvanted vaccines.
The conference programme consists of world-class keynote addresses, industry and academic led presentations and ample networking opportunities creating an interactive platform for high-level scientific and business discussions.
The meeting is part of the Vaccines, Immunotherapies & Cell therapies (VIC) Congress 2012
The meeting is held under the auspices of the German Society for tropical Medicine and International Health (DTG e.V.) and the German Society for Parasitology (DGP e.V.).
Together with partners, scientific and political priorities to accelerate AIDS vaccine research and other new prevention technologies will be presented and discussed.
