Aloyce Costantine

Aloyce has a Master of Science in Biotechnology Innovation and Regulatory Sciences from Purdue University with a focus on pharmaceutical industry.
He has been involved in clinical trial research of HIV First line Drugs Praziquantels and Vaccines for Ebola and Human papilloma Virus (HPV) Gardasil9 and Cervarix.
As researchers from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs)1 who are involved in clinical research activities have limited opportunities to acquire experience and develop skills for conducting clinical trials outside an academic or public sector setting, Aloyce applied for the European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) Clinical Research and Development Fellowship programme, with EVI as a hosting institution, to acquire experience and develop skills to conduct clinical trials for poverty related diseases in Sub Saharan Africa as well as other expertise in vaccinology (from antigens discovery to vaccine development).
