Kimberly joined the European Vaccine Initiative in February 2022 as a Project Manager. She has a background in veterinary vaccinology with 7+ years experience in the field of immunology, molecular biology, and infectious disease trials. She holds a PhD in Immunology from the University of Aberdeen where she worked on characterising host immune responses to adjuvant formulations. During her research career she has worked internationally as an R&D immunologist and clinical research professional testing novel delivery platforms of bacterial and viral vaccines for commercial production. Kimberly’s work involved substantial industrial collaborations and has led to several research articles published in international peer-reviewed journals. At EVI Kimberly is primarily involved in the management of cross-cutting vaccine development collaborations and veterinary vaccine projects.
