Adriana Vives
Project Manager
Adriana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology (UPF, Barcelona) and a Master’s degree in Clinical Research in International Health (University of Barcelona, UB-ISGlobal).
Adriana started her career as research assistant in the malaria group at ISGlobal. She also worked as Clinical Research Coordinator at Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, managing and implementing clinical trials (in the field of nephrology, renal transplant and oncology). Afterwards, she joined the European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network (ECRIN), where she managed international clinical research projects, providing scientific, regulatory and funding advice to academic researchers and SMEs.
Furthermore, she participated in rotation programmes within the Manhiça Health Research Centre (Mozambique) and the Ifakara Health Institute (Tanzania) in the fields of HIV, malaria and neglected diseases.
Before joining EVI, Adriana worked for the European Commission (HaDEA) in Brussels as project officer dealing with the implementation of the public health programme EU4Health.
