Mandeep joined EVI as a trainee in May 2021. She received her Bachelor degree in "Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery" (BAMS) from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in Punjab, India. After graduation, she worked at an NGO for Breast cancer awareness in rural areas for 1.5 years. She worked for four years for the Government of India's "National Health Mission" project in Punjab. During this time, she coordinated vaccination campaigns as Assistant District Immunization Officer of the Polio vaccination and Measles-Rubella vaccination campaigns. She also organized awareness campaigns for Hepatitis B, Dengue, Malaria, and STH. Currently, she is a master student studying "Health and Society in South Asia" at the University of Heidelberg and writing her master thesis on the Illegal Kidney Trade in India.
