William Martin
Project Manager
William joined the European Vaccine Initiative as an Assistant Project Manager in July 2021. He obtained a PhD in Biochemistry from Vanderbilt University in 2018 while studying the interactions between RNAs and chromatin-modifying enzyme complexes. Afterwards, William conducted research as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND postdoctoral fellow at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). There, he coordinated the execution and validation of several high-throughput drug screens against RNA and RNA-binding protein targets with international partners. At the EVI, he is primarily involved with the management of collaborations which promote vaccine research, development, and clinical testing.
